Notes: God is most certainly coming to rescue His people from the tribulations of this world and the consequences of sin. This world will not always continue as it is, God intends to recreate it in holiness and righteousness. We must realize the importance of constant preparation so that we may be part of that new world. Such preparation comes from relying on God for the forgiveness and strength we need.(www.pericope.org)
