NOTES: Praise of our God involves much more than the time we spend in an actual worship service. It rather involves every facet of our existence. We are renewed in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, and this inner renewal becomes obvious in our daily lives. Thus all of life becomes a way of praising our wonderful God. Today our worship emphasizes that as we lead these renewed lives in service to God, we often meet trouble and opposition, but we are not to fear, for God delivers His children. (www.pericope.org)
