Seasonal Emphasis: God deserves our praise
Today's General Theme: The child of God is called to a life of righteousness

NOTES: God's children are on display as we live in this world. Through us, God demonstrates what live in this world was meant to be. This presupposes, of course, that we are living as God intends! Obviously, if we are living the way unbelievers do, no one will benefit from our witness! That, however, would be a contradiction, for God's children have been called to turn from the sinful ways of this world to a new life of righteousness founded on Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit works to renew us inwardly so that our lives conform more and more to God's holy will and less and less to the evil ways of this world. (www.pericope.org)
